Dr. Sheila Blumberg graduated from Boston University School of Medicine before completing her residency training in General Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center and NYU School of Medicine in 2014. She continued her subspecialty fellowship training as a fellow in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. She is Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery and works solely as a practicing vascular surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine since September 2016.. Her focus is the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disorders, specifically venous disorders, peripheral arterial disease, diabetic foot ulcers and limb salvage surgery, lymphedema, endovascular therapies for thoracic and abdominal aneurysmal disease, carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous disease. She has a Masters in Clinical Investigation from NYU School of Medicine and is actively involved in clinical research in these areas of interest.
