Megan Marcinko is the Director of Advocacy for the Society for Vascular Surgery. In lead the SVS' advocacy and government relations programs, Megan draws on her nearly 20 years of health-related policy/legislative experience. Having served in similar roles at the American Academy of Otolaryngology--Head and Neck Surgery, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American College of Radiology, Megan has extensive knowledge of physician-oriented policy and legislative issues, including: reimbursement, scope of practice, graduate medical education, and other emerging/timely health-related trends. Megan also has significant political expertise, having served as the Director of AAO-HNS' political action committee, ENT PAC. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree in Legislative and Political Affairs, as well as a Graduate Certificate in PACs & Political Management, from the George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management (GSPM). Outside of work, Megan is kept busy by her husband and three sons.
