Location: Foyer
Objective: Document the effectiveness of skin autograft in leg ulcers, obtaining good healing, regardless of its etiology.
Methods: The ulcer must be without infection and grainy.
We use scalpel # 11, obtaining skin from the patient's thigh, in the form of a stamp and of different diameters, and we cover the ulcer leaving spaces between the stamps.
We present three cases of ulcers of different etiologies: 1.- Venous 2.- Arterial 3.- Diabetic With different comorbidities.
Results: In all three cases the result was satisfactory. We count the healing time from the first consultation to the closure of the ulcer. The diabetic ulcer required grafting in two times, with separation of 20 days. It is essential to treat the vascular cause and concomitant diseases of each patient.
Conclusions: The skin autograft caused a rapid reepithelialization of the ulcers, despite their different vascular etiologies. We believe it is a valid therapeutic option, in patients with ulcers. Improving their quality of life, shortening healing times and reincorporating the patient into their daily activity.
